Rising 9th Grade Skorts – FAQ’s


● Is the current Middle School ​Skort​ the same style/fit as what is coming in for Fall?
Yes – the style and fit of the Skort is the same. The waist will fit the same as the current Middle School Skorts.

● What is different about the ​Skorts​ that are coming in?
All Skorts going forward will have added length to the outside and the inside(knit short) portion of the Skort.

● Can my daughter hem the new ​Skort?
Yes – Skorts may be hemmed to the required length.

● What is the required length of the ​Skort​ for 9​ th​ graders?
Skorts are required to be longer than the students middle fingertip when extended fully and flat against their leg.

● Can my daughter where her older sister’s ​Skirts​?
No – All rising 9 th graders are required to wear a Skort.

● Can my daughter purchase and wear a ​Skirt​ from the Used Uniform Sale?
No – All rising 9 th graders are required to wear a Skort.

● Can my daughter purchase and wear a ​Skort​ from the Used Uniform Sale?
Yes – As long as it fits and is appropriate length for her (fingertip length).

● Can my daughter wear the ​Skort​ she wore in 8​ th​ grade?
Yes – As long as it fits and is appropriate length for her (fingertip length).

● Can my daughter purchase from the Campus Store and wear the older style of Middle School Skort (without the added length)?
Yes – As long as it fits and is appropriate length for her (fingertip length). Limited quantities of the older style will be available.

● Can my daughter cut out the ‘short’ portion of the ​Skort?
No - this is a violation of the dress code.

● Are rising 10​ th​ and 11​ th​ graders required to wear a ​Skort?
No – Rising 10 th and 11 th graders can wear Skirts.

● Can rising 10​ th​ and 11​ th​ graders wear a S​kort?
Yes – They do have the option to wear a Skort.

● When can my daughter come try on the new ​Skorts​?
The Campus Store will be open for Uniform sales beginning Wednesday, August 1.
