I believe that teachers should be specially trained people of vision.
- Eva Edwards Lovett ca. 1935
At Lovett, our teachers are purpose-driven and passion-filled. They are curious, creative, and always striving to be better. Here some highlights of Lovett faculty members' professional successes and continued learning.
Stacia McFadden, a member of The Lovett School faculty since 2011, was recently invited to serve on the faculty of the School Leadership Institute (SLI), an institute with national reach offered annually by the National Association of Independent Schools (NAIS).
The Lovett School was exceptionally well-represented at the Georgia Independent School Association (GISA) Annual Conference in Atlanta in early November. Fourteen Lovett educators presented, sharing innovation, best practices, and powerful processes with educators from across the state. Four of the presenters will reprise their sessions at the GISA conference in south Georgia later in November.
Karey has taught digital photography for Global Online Academy since 2016. She states that it has helped all of her students broaden their network; her Lovett students and GOA students share sample work across classes and time zones.
