New Parent Campaign

The New Parent Campaign is part of Lovett's year-long effort  to educate new parents by providing valuable information and encouraging participation in important facets of school life.

The New Parent Campaign takes place March through May each year and is staffed by volunteers who are new parents  themselves.

The goals of the New Parent Campaign are simple:
  • To continue the orientation of New Parents by allowing them to be better informed members of the Lovett community and to increase the sense of community among new parents across school divisions
  • To educate our New Parents about the financial operations and strategic plans and needs of Lovett
  • To  emphasize the importance of participation in all development efforts
  • To increase our New Parents' enthusiasm  for and knowledge about the Lovett development program
  • To raise funds in support of strategic plan priorities

Headmaster's Tables

As part of the New Parent Campaign, new parents are invited to attend one of several  "Headmaster's Tables." Join Lovett Headmaster Billy Peebles and campaign volunteers to learn about Lovett’s  strategic vision -- programs, faculty/staff, finances, facilities,  and endowment. These meetings are different from the Fall New Parent Meetings with the headmaster, which are centered on the booklet 'Lovett-Parent Partnership: Outlining Expectations and Responsibilities.'
