Join Friends of the Arts for an evening discussing the thriving film and television industry in Georgiathe number one filming destination in the world, at the premier fundraiser for Lovett's Fine Arts programs.

Guests will begin the evening on the red carpet at a cocktail reception, chatting with fellow parents and our panelists, leaders in Georgia’s film and television industry. Then guests will move to a panel discussion with a variety of leaders in the film and television field, learning about the significant economic impact the business generates for the Georgia economy (in 2017, there were 320 films and television productions shot in Georgia generating and economic impact of $9.5 billion!) and the behind the scenes of the business. Following the discussion, guests will have a chance to mingle one on one with our panelists.

Monies raised from The Great Conversation help fund the partnership between Lovett and the High Museum of Art; provide scholarships for applied music lessons; fund end-of-year grants for new equipment, instruments, and arts faculty education; and pay for the live-streaming and videography of more than 20 fine arts events.
