Spring Session (March 20 – April 19)
Spring Sculpture 101 - Have you ever made a doodle and wished you could make it come to life? Or maybe you just like the idea of learning more about sculpting. We will each design and make our own sculptures each week in this class. Materials fee of $25 will be charged to each student who joins.
- Location: Middle School Art Room
Creative Writing – Come and be inspired by a creative activity involving a gnome, fairy, or troll and its dwelling. We will build a setting out of food and create a protagonist; that will be the catalyst for our writing sessions!
- Location: Room 146
Innovation - Do you like to code? Tinker? Come join the innovation team to explore your inner geek! The innovation team is a middle school intramural that focuses on developing essential technology and engineering skills. Students will participate in a variety of projects that provide opportunities to design and build digital and “analog” artifacts. We will focus on a diverse set of skills including programming, digital video production, robotics, 3D printing, and more.
- Location: Middle School Technology Lab
Swimming - Is the spring weather getting you excited about summer swim team? Are you looking for a little refresher before your swim team competes? We will be working on our technique of breaststroke and butterfly as well as working on increasing our speed. Our spring swim intramural will be held on Wednesdays from 3:45-4:45pm. The class is going to be capped at 10 participants, so if you are interested, sign up sooner than later.
