Lower School

Active and creative learning, combined with a firm, caring, and accepting environment, are the hallmarks of the Lovett Lower School. In addition to a developmentally appropriate curriculum, the most vital mission of the Lower School is to instill the values of respect, responsibility, and honesty.

Construction was completed in August 2003 on a new Lower School, which includes its own library and gymnasium, and is divided into three developmentally appropriate wings: early childhood (including Kindergarten and Grade 1), primary (Grades 2 and 3), and elementary (Grades 4 and 5). Resource centers in music, art, science, and language serve the varying grade levels, as well.
