For many years, Lovett students, faculty, and parents have supported the American Cancer Society’s Relay for Life program by participating in an event or through financial support. The Lovett community has experienced the impact of cancer and its devastating effects on students, parents, faculty, and staff. Hosting a Relay for Life gives our community a way to fight back and help support cancer research for all types of the disease.
The Buckhead-Vinings Relay for Life will be held at the Kilpatrick Stadium at 6:00 p.m. on Friday, June 2. The relay will conclude at 11:00 p.m.
Everyone is welcome and encouraged to attend. Registration is on going: www.relayforlife.org/viningsbuckheadga. Join a Lovett team, form your own team, or register as an individual. Registration is free!
“This will be a very special event for the Lovett community,” said Director of Civic Engagement Angela Morris-Long. “You can come for an hour or stay until 11:00. It will be meaningful and fun for children of all ages, parents, faculty, and alumni. “
