The Hard Work of Thinking

Henry Ford said, "Thinking is the hardest work there is." He doesn't say memorizing. He doesn't say calculating. He doesn't even say writing. Learning to think, to evaluate, to synthesize, to analyze information, instead of simply acquiring knowledge, is at the heart of a Lovett education. That is hard work.
