A Photo Gallery of Life Under Quarantine

Mary Grace Samp

Looks like we’ve been trying to stay healthy, hanging out with our animals, getting creative, and having the occasional ice cream sundae before dinner.

We sent out a request for photos of life under quarantine. Below you’ll find the images and captions that students and faculty submitted. Looks like we’ve been trying to stay healthy, hanging out with our animals, getting creative, and having the occasional ice cream sundae before dinner.

Enjoy!

Okay, I knew I needed a haircut, so I said, "What the heck!" I watched one video on how to cut your hair using the ponytail method...... so I put my hair in a tight ponytail and I cut ABOVE the rubber band. Here is the result!! Haaaaaa! Maybe I won't need any more of those expensive cuts at the salon!!

Here is something I've been up to lately: doing some watercolor art. This one is the only one worth showing for now. It's been fun to work on this whenever I have a moment free in my teaching schedule!

Problem: Our dog Willow has taken to sunning herself on our back deck but with her fair-skinned belly she’s prone to getting burned. Solution: We altered an old pair of our son’s boxers for her to wear to cover her belly. Adorable and practical!

My mom gives her new puppy, Winnie, her first bath. When we first got her at the end of March, she was about the size of a guinea pig and she’d sleep all the time. Now she’s a little bigger and she’s always trying to play with her older “sister” Mollie who wants nothing to do with her.
