Textbook Buy Back
The Campus Store will be conducting the Lovett’s Book Buy Back this year. There are a limited number of books being used again next year.
The Book Buy Back form
indicates the book titles and ISBNs that are eligible for buy back, as well as the credit amount that is possible for return of these titles.
Books deemed in unsaleable condition will not be eligible for return.
All credits will be made to the student account at the time of the return of the books.
No books will be taken outside of the dates listed below.
Textbook Buy Back at the Campus Store
Seniors: Monday, May 9 - Friday, May 13
Upper School: Monday, May 16 - Friday, May 20
Middle School: Monday, May 23 - Wednesday, May 25
In early May, the Lower School librarians will share suggested summer reading on the Dorothy Floyd Library website
All Middle School students are required to read three books over the summer. One required book by grade level, plus two other books of choice. Students should be prepared to complete an assignment at the beginning of the 22-23 school year for the required reading.
6th Grade - Fish in a Tree by Lynda Mullaly Hunt
7th Grade - Ground Zero by Alan Gratz
8th Grade - A book by Rick Riordan related to Greek mythology. Books may come from any of the following series: Percy Jackson and the Olympians, The Heroes of Olympus, and Trials of Apollo

Families are encouraged to discuss the additional reading selections, and parents should approve all book choices. For reading suggestions, check out the list of recommendations provided on the Summer Reading website
Please note that there is no required summer grammar work this year.
There is required summer work for several AP courses and English and global studies classes. Remember to choose the assignment for the class signed up for in the 2022-23 school year. The information below, including assignments to download, is posted on the Vasser Woolley Library's page

There is also a list of titles selected by faculty, staff, and students, to encourage reading outside of the required texts.
Order Textbooks for the Fall
All Middle and Upper School students should plan on acquiring their required school textbooks using one of these options:
Attend Book Pick-up, held Friday, August 12 and Monday, August 15, 9:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. Come let our student workers help you pick out which books you need.
Pre-order a Book Bundle of your required textbooks. Let the Campus Store do the work for you! An order form will be sent after courses are set in mid-July. Your required books will be bundled together and available for pick up on Friday, August 5.
ISBNs will be posted by July 1 and you may opt to purchase these books at a location of your choice.
In addition, some titles and online resources will be delivered to student’s teachers and will automatically be billed to the student’s account. These will be noted on the ISBN list for the courses for which this will occur.

The last day to purchase uniforms before the end of the 2021-22 school year is May 13.
No uniforms will be sold during the summer.
Uniform sales will resume and will be available for purchase and pick-up beginning Monday, August 1.
Families with rain checks from the Spring Sale will receive an email mid-July asking for a reply and confirmation of their orders.
New pre-orders will be notified by email (after August 1) when their order is ready for pick-up.

Middle School Supply Packs
Middle School Supply Packs will be available for ordering in mid-July. All of the teacher-required supplies are bundled into this pack for your convenience. More information and ordering links will be sent out in July.
