Jessica Jaret Sant joined Lovett's College Counseling team in 2011 and was named Director in 2014. In 2021, she took on the role of Lovett' Chief Engagement Officer. Raised in Atlanta, she earned her undergraduate and graduate degrees from The University of Georgia. Currently, she is completing a Certificate in School Management and Leadership through the Harvard Business School and Graduate School of Education. Prior to Lovett, Jessica worked as an admission officer at her alma mater and also at Emory University. She is a member of several professional organizations, including the Association of College Counselors in Independent Schools (ACCIS), the National Association for College Admission Counseling (NACAC), the Southern Association for College Admission Counseling (SACAC), and The College Board. In April 2020, Jessica completed a three-year term in the SACAC presidential cycle and previously co-chaired SACAC’s Government Relations Committee as well. She is the current SACAC Board Advisor and the chair of SACAC's Governance and Nominating Committee. Jessica has served on faculty for Dry Run for new admission counselors, the ACCIS New Directors Workshop, Camp College, and the Duke Alumni Admission Forum. She has sat on Lynn University, the University of South Carolina, and the University of Georgia’s Counselor Advisory Boards and currently serves in the same capacity at Dickinson College. Jessica regularly presents at regional and national conferences, including the SACAC and NACAC annual conferences, the Georgia Independent School Association Conference, the Georgia School Counselors Association conference, and the National Association of Independent Schools conference. She’s the recipient of Lovett’s Surdyk Award, SACAC’s Rising Star Award, and NACAC’s Excellence in Government Relations Award.
