chris.rodriguez@lovett.org
Chris Rodriguez is new to the Lovett College Counseling team this year but is no stranger to Georgia. After growing up in Connecticut, Chris attended Emory University for his undergraduate degree and the University of Georgia for his graduate degree. From there, Chris spent five years working in the admissions office at Mercer University as an Admissions Counselor and Assistant Director of Admissions, serving as the liaison for Athletics and the School of Engineering along the way. He then switched to the high school side, working as the Assistant Director and Director of College Counseling at The Webb School in Bell Buckle, TN. His most recent position was with The Branson School in Ross, CA, as the Associate Director of College Counseling. He also is an experienced English teacher, having taught a class on the Harry Potter series multiple times. Chris has been named one of the "Counselors That Change Lives" by the Colleges That Change Lives organization, and currently serves on the ACCIS Data Trends and Analytics Committee. He has strong opinions about film and the Oxford comma, and you may sometimes see him dressed as Captain America or Spider-Man.
