Margaret Harman

Assistant to the Directors of Admission

Margaret joined the Admission team in 2018. Prior to Lovett, Margaret spent 22 years in residential real estate, most recently with Beacham & Company, Realtors. She earned her license in 1996 at the encouragement of United States Senator Johnny Isakson, after working on his Gubernatorial race. A native of Charlotte, North Carolina, Margaret is a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a die-hard Tarheel. She lives in Atlanta with her two daughters, Lacey and Eliza. Lacey is a sophomore at the University of Alabama and Eliza is a senior at Holy Innocents’ Episcopal School. They attend Northside United Methodist Church.

What is your favorite thing about your job at Lovett?
I love the daily interaction with the students, families, faculty, and staff.  Everyone is so friendly here and it’s great to see familiar faces every day. Also, I work with the best group of people in the Admission Office - we work hard, but have fun.  It’s wonderful to be part of such a great team.

How do you like to spend time outside of work?
I enjoy spending time with family and friends, traveling, and watching sports. I especially enjoy cheering on my beloved Tarheels!
The Lovett School is an independent, coeducational day school where children from Kindergarten through Grade 12 find the courage to explore and the drive to discover.
