There are several outstanding programs available at Lovett to engage your Lower School student after school.

Dear Lovett Community,
We hope this email finds you well and enjoying comfort from Lovett’s successful opening of the school year. At this point, Lovett is still not comfortable offering auxiliary (afterschool) programming or bus service for the same reasons we communicated in early August; that putting students from different classes and school divisions on the same bus, or in combined after or before school programs, would work against the rest of the school’s social distancing protocols and put larger portions of the community at risk of being quarantined in the event of a positive case.
That being said, Lovett’s success with in-person schooling, as well as the responsible behavior of our lower and middle school students, feels like progress toward the resumption of those programs. In mid-September, we will revisit the decision. We are hopeful that the safe return to full population density in the Lower School will be a precursor to the resumption of other auxiliary programs.
Thank you for your patience and understanding.
