As we look ahead to the next 100 years, we have embarked upon a transformational moment in Lovett’s history that will define our future. Our opportunity is to honor, celebrate, and affirm our commitment to the whole child—the student who will thrive in learning and in life.

Together we will take Lovett to a new level of excellence, realizing the mission and the essence of our school more fully than ever before.

CAMPUS TRANSFORMATION

Rita Anne Rollins Hall - $93 million Working goal

Lovett is home to more than 1,600 students, each inspired to reach their full potential. Our campus should reflect that same spirit—spaces that spark learning, nurture well-being, and bring our community together.

Through the One Lovett campaign, generous donor support is transforming our campus. The new Rita Anne Rollins Hall will serve as a front door to Lovett, welcoming visitors and offering intentionally designed spaces that will impact every student, teacher, and family every single day. Rollins Hall will house programs that are central to the Lovett experience.

Learning Spaces

The facility will inspire creativity and innovation through dynamic, interdisciplinary spaces. Students will explore the arts, design, and media in studios for performance, dance, film, and broadcasting, alongside two state-of-the-art Maker Space design labs. These environments foster collaboration and hands-on learning in science, technology, engineering, art, and entrepreneurship.

Expanded Central Quad

Through careful planning we will gain a full acre of greenspace, creating an inviting central quad that improves the connection between divisions and creates opportunity for faculty and students to have impromptu interactions.

The Chapel

At Lovett, worship is a creative, inclusive, and consistent part of life for all students and faculty. This practice makes way for the development of character, honor, wisdom, empathy, kindness, service, and mutual respect. We will celebrate faith in a new light-filled chapel in the heart of campus.

The Dining Commons

Our new Dining Commons will seat up to 700 students and faculty, increasing the capacity of our current space by nearly 200, offering more appropriate meal times for all students, and making the academic schedule more flexible.

The Library & Study Commons

The new Library and Study Commons will provide access to quiet spaces to read, reflect, and learn, as well as collaborative spaces to create, build, and brainstorm.

FACULTY SUPPORT

$12 million Working goal

Lovett’s faculty are the catalyst for meaningful learning. Generations of alumni agree: what endures most is the profound connection formed with a teacher. Through One Lovett, we aim to ennoble the teaching profession and honor what has always defined our school. This mission has never been more urgent. We are blessed with exceptional educators, yet we recognize the national challenges facing the profession and the growing shortage of qualified teachers.

Today, some of the finest teachers in the Southeast are educating our children. It remains a top priority for Lovett to retain these outstanding educators and attract the next generation.

Faculty Recruitment, Retention, and Reward Fund

$7 million endowment Goal

To attract and retain exceptional faculty, Lovett must provide competitive compensation packages, access to continuous professional growth, and other benefits without straining tuition and annual operations. In today’s market, we must compensate our teachers commensurate with their value, adapt to the rising cost of living in Atlanta, and keep our programs and facilities strong, all the while maintaining a tuition within reach. Through One Lovett, we aim to raise $7 million in endowment to establish a faculty recruitment, retention, and reward fund that will provide the Head of School with the flexibility to respond to the most pressing needs of our faculty.

Faculty Innovation Grants

$5 million endowment Goal

This campaign includes $5 million in endowed funds for faculty innovation grants. The annual income from these endowed funds will provide teachers with reduced responsibilities and the time to pursue professional development opportunities in service to their career growth and Lovett’s students. Grants will allow teachers to plan their own learning arc, redesign a course, learn an essential teaching skill, or collaborate across departments in order to enhance the classroom experience. Faculty Innovation Grants will benefit every teacher, every student, and every classroom experience. These grants will signal to the marketplace that Lovett is a school that values, ennobles, and develops its faculty—a powerful tool in teacher retention and recruitment in an increasingly challenging market.

STUDENT SUPPORT

$8 Million endowment Working goal

The world urgently needs what Lovett nurtures—inquisitive, compassionate thinkers who approach challenges creatively and lead with both heart and mind. To ensure that Lovett’s transformative education remains accessible, we offer tuition assistance that opens doors for talented, motivated students who will thrive here.

We seek to attract and support young people who will make the most of a Lovett education and, as alumni, bring honor to our school. A student body that reflects the world around us enriches learning for all—preparing students for real-world challenges, deepening empathy, and strengthening understanding across differences.

Today, Lovett students represent 71 zip codes. The true cost of a Lovett education exceeds tuition and fees, and every student benefits from the generosity of donors who have invested in need-based financial aid. Yet, we can—and must—do more.

Through One Lovett, we aim to build an $8 million endowment for Student Support, generating $360,000 annually to ensure every student has access to the full Lovett experience. The power of a Lovett education lies not only in its classrooms but in the countless opportunities beyond them. Because a true Lovett education depends on full participation, we are committed to making that experience available to every student—without added or unforeseen financial burden.

Financial aid covers tuition alone, while families still face nearly $3,000 in additional annual expenses. Many of Lovett’s most formative opportunities—athletics, arts, travel, and enrichment experiences—carry extra costs that can place them out of reach. No student should be limited by financial circumstance from pursuing passions that can shape a lifetime.
