On Monday, August 15, we welcome all ninth grade AND new-to-Lovett families and students for orientation. Ninth grade students should be dropped off at either the Upper School or Murray Athletic Center (MAC) circle and check in at the Wallace Gymnasium lobby at 8:00 a.m. Students need to wear comfortable clothes (i.e. they do not need to wear their school uniform) as they will be participating in some outside activities. They should also bring a water bottle and their cell phone. Lunch will be provided.
Parents of ninth grade students should gather in the Hendrix-Chenault Theater at 8:15 a.m., where they will meet with the Upper School team before meeting with their child’s advisor. Parent programming will end by 10:30 a.m. and students will be dismissed by 2:45 p.m.
New-to-Lovett 10th and 11th grade parents and students also are invited to this event in the theater. Students can stay with their families for the presentation in the theater before meeting with their grade-level dean and advisor. To access the theater, park near the pond at the front of campus and walk across the footbridge into the Fuqua Center.

An orientation for all new fifth grade students will be held Monday, August 15, from 9:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m., in the Lower School. This also applies to students who are returning to Lovett after having spent time at another school last year. This will be an opportunity for students to acclimate (or re-acclimate) to a new school environment and become familiar with the routines and structures unique to fifth grade.
All supplies will be provided by Lovett and students do not need to bring anything with them other than a water bottle!

Lovett students from the Class of 2023 and the Class of 2024 have been invited to attend the WWKM College Day program hosted by The Westminster Schools, Woodward Academy, KIPP Atlanta Collegiate, and Marist School on Saturday, August 27 from 1:30 - 3:00 p.m. at the Renaissance Waverly Hotel.
Attendance for the WWKM college fair is by invitation only, and we ask that you do not share this information with students from other high schools. Additionally, the host schools ask that only students attend, as the WWKM College Day is designed to maximize direct conversations between admission representatives and students.
Parking is not guaranteed for attendees. Should students wish to drive directly to the fair, please note that onsite parking for the program will be $20. For your convenience, the College Counseling team has secured shuttles that will leave from campus and take students to and from the Renaissance Waverly Hotel.
The Lovett School is an independent, coeducational day school where children from Kindergarten through Grade 12 find the courage to explore and the drive to discover.
