Athletics and Physical Education play vital roles in Lovett's mission to educate the whole child. Our Lions are offered a range of developmentally appropriate experiences from early childhood programs in the Lower School through competitive varsity sports in the Upper School. Physical education and interscholastic athletic programs provide opportunities for students to grow physically, socially, and emotionally.

Our programs are led by experienced coaches who are true experts in their fields and who care deeply about developing each student-athlete’s character, confidence, and potential. With a wide variety of sports offered across all three seasons, students are encouraged to explore new opportunities, embrace teamwork, and compete with integrity and passion.

Supported by state-of-the-art facilities among the best in the nation, Lovett student-athletes train and perform at a championship level while balancing a rigorous academic program. Many of our graduates go on to play competitive athletics at the collegiate level, a testament to the preparation, discipline, and love of learning they develop here.
