Application Process

The online application and all Lower School supplemental forms and registrations are accessible through Ravenna.

Please note, we are not accepting applications to the 2nd grade for the 2027-28 school year.

• Apply Online with Ravenna: Due February 1, 2027. 
  Application available in Ravenna on October 1.
• Parent Questionnaire
• Schedule JATP: JATP evaluation administration begins September 2026 — please visit the JATP website to schedule. If your child has had a full psychoeducational evaluation within the last three years, you may submit this in lieu of the JATP. 
• Report Cards: Submit a Transcript Release Authorization Form to your current school.
  • Grade 1: We require a copy of your child’s Fall 2026-27 report card.
  • Grade 2: We require a copy of your child’s Fall 2026-27 report card and 2025-26 complete transcript.
  • Grades 3 through 5: We require a copy of your child’s Fall 2026-27 report card, 2025-26 and 2024-25 complete transcripts, and any standardized testing if applicable. 
• Teacher Evaluation(s): This evaluation should be completed and submitted by your child’s teacher after December 1. If your child has different teachers for Math and English, please send this form to both.
• Lovett Observation: Once an application has been submitted, you will receive more information on our grade-specific observations, which are held in January and February. 
• Apply for Financial Assistance: Due March 1, 2027
  Lovett offers flexible tuition payment plans and need-based financial assistance to provide access and opportunity to qualified students.

The online application and all Middle School supplemental forms and registrations are accessible through Ravenna. 

• Apply Online with Ravenna: Due February 1, 2027

• Entrance Testing: Lovett will accept either the SSAT or ISEE from the 2026-27 school year. Please request that SSAT or ISEE release your scores to Lovett. Our school codes are: ISEE (110185) and SSAT (4696).
• Report Cards: Submit a Transcript Release Authorization Form to your current school. We require a copy of your child’s Fall 2026-27 report card, 2025-26, and 2024-25 complete transcripts, and any standardized testing if applicable.
• Principal/Counselor, Math, and English Teacher Evaluation Forms: Please submit forms to your current school after December 1.
• Mission Lovett: An Interactive Middle School Experience. This experience is scheduled to be held in person in January and February of 2027.
