Discover Your Place at Lovett

Lovett serves students in kindergarten through 12th grade and we believe that education isn't just about a destination. Rather, it's about a journey of hands-on experiences that deepen a child's cognitive, emotional, and social skills while inspiring an enduring enthusiasm for learning.

Though we naturally expand at kindergarten and in fifth, sixth, and ninth grades, we welcome and encourage applications at all grade levels. Applications for different grades will have slightly different processes. Lovett uses an online management system called Ravenna for the entire admission process, including event registrations, submitting the application, and final decisions. Please note, we are not accepting applications to the 1st grade for the 2026-27 school year.

Create a Ravenna Profile

Lovett's application deadline is February 1, 2026. Please refer to the calendar below for important dates. At this time, we are not accepting applications to the 1st grade for the 2026-27 school year.

Please do not hesitate to contact our Admission Office at admission@lovett.org or by calling (404) 479-8487, should you have any questions. We look forward to meeting you and your family!

I am about to start my 13th and final year at Lovett and I would not have wanted to grow up at any other school. I truly have "loved it at Lovett." The faculty and staff in the Lower, Middle, and Upper schools are all amazing, and while you are going to have your favorites, it is easy to see how well qualified every teacher is at Lovett. Our academics are on par with rival schools in Atlanta, yet Lovett maintains a positive and less competitive environment for students, leading to a better overall experience.

Current Student

I can't even begin to tell you how happy [my two children] are at Lovett. They are excited about getting up every morning, and they are in good moods when I pick them up in the afternoons. The joy and confidence that is given to them every day is the BEST feeling for a parent. It's heart-warming. I loved getting the opportunity to meet their teachers on Parents Night, and we were so impressed with each one of them. We are TRULY so happy to be a part of such a special community.

Lower School

Kindergarten through 5th Grade

The Lower School is a place that fosters children’s innate sense of curiosity, play, and wonder, as positive energy and warmth permeates our hallways and classrooms. Students’ days are filled with  exploration and risk-taking as they unearth their greater purpose and embark on a journey toward lifelong learning.

Middle School

6th through 8th Grades

We believe that Middle Schoolers are magical. Their independence, clarity of thought, and willingness to explore new ideas inspire us to infuse learning with meaning. The energy is electric and wires this division for exploration and impact.

Upper School

9th through 12th Grades

The Upper School aims to help our students attain skills necessary to respond to the complex problems of our world and is committed to active learning and personal interaction between student and teacher, augmented by the use of technology to investigate, solve problems, connect with others, and pursue original ideas.
