Students Travel to Pisgah National Forest for Lovett's Annual J.O.E. Trip

The Junior Outdoor Experience (J.O.E.) is a seminal part of Lovett's whole child education and immerses 11th Grade students in Pisgah National Forest for three nights of backpacking, hiking, and camping. During the trip, students learn wilderness survival skills like water filtration, shelter construction, and food preparation. Ethan Greenberg is the J.O.E. Coordinator and arranges logistics for over a dozen groups, including emergency personnel, to ensure that the experience is a safe one for students and adult group leaders alike.

For more information about J.O.E., reach out to Ethan Greenberg. Click the image below to watch the 2024 video.
