Members of the Class of 2023 were recently honored by the National Merit Scholarship Program and the College Board.
Ten seniors received letters of commendation in recognition of their outstanding academic promise in the 2023 National Merit Scholarship Program:

- Amia Georges
- Kai Hackney
- Davis Haden
- Addie Harmer
- Madeleine Morris
- Miles Phillips
- Adam Young
These students are some of the 50,000 students nationwide who receive recognition from the National Merit Scholarship Program, out of the 1.5 million high school students who took the Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test (PSAT/NMSQT) during their junior year.
In addition, 12 students were selected as a College Board National Recognition Program awardee.
These students earned this recognition because of their academic achievements in school and outstanding performance on the PSAT/NMSQT, PSAT 10, and/or AP Exams.
