Student Groups

Middle and Upper School students have the opportunity to participate in Student Resource Groups (SRG) to strengthen their group identity and build bridges within and across the Lovett community.

Students serve our diverse body through empowerment. By providing resources in the form of training, finances, facilities, and two-way communication loops, these groups assist Lovett in aligning everyday behavior with its mission and core values. These groups are also empowered to create positive change within the community.

Parent Groups

The Office of Engagement supports parents through regularly scheduled coffees, book studies, and family gatherings. Lovett Community Connections (LCC) is a parent-run organization focusing on building a broader understanding of cultures from around the world. 

Cultural Resource Groups (CRG) provide parents and guardians with the opportunity to foster stronger connections within the Lovett community by celebrating diverse cultures and faith traditions. CRGs host events and gatherings that honor a wide range of customs and holidays, offering a welcoming space for families to share and learn from one another. All parents are invited to participate in any CRG, regardless of background or personal heritage. 

Alumni Groups

The Black Alumni Council is a group of Black alumni leaders who focus intently on the experience of Black alums and whose chair has a standing seat on the Alumni Association’s Executive Board.

The Student Diversity Leadership Council (SDLC) is comprised of student advocates and allies, who create opportunities to honor diversity, build equity, and promote inclusion at The Lovett School. The council promotes cultural awareness through educational programming, discussions, and cultural events and celebrations, with the goal of fostering a community that truly lives by its core values of intellect, purpose, belonging, faith, and love in and out of school. We are committed to maintaining a council that reflects and represents the diverse perspectives of the Lovett community, where the whole child can flourish.
