What does it mean to teach across disciplines? How do politics and culture connect in the classroom? How can music and film inform our learning about American history and literature? This faculty workshop can answer those questions, and more! The American Studies Institute's third faculty workshop will be June 12-13, 2008, at The Lovett School. The theme of this session is "From Cold War to Strangelove: Examining Communism in America through Politics and Culture, 1940s-1960s." This workshop is open to middle and upper school faculty from all schools. For more information, including a detailed schedule and registration form, see the brochure link to the right.
