Honor and integrity

Consistent with Lovett's goal of developing a culture of integrity, the community has established an Honor Code. This Honor Code states:

A Lovett student will not lie.
A Lovett student will not steal.
A Lovett student will not cheat.
A Lovett student will not plagiarize.

It is a rare privilege for a person to live and work in an atmosphere of trust and mutual respect; therefore, we encourage each member of our community to guard that privilege fervently. The Office of Character Education fosters a respect for honesty and integrity by working closely with the Honor Council and by working with students on projects that reinforce understanding of value of academic integrity within a learning community.
