FAQ

Q

What do I need to register online?

A

To make the online registration process go smoothly, be sure to have the following information handy: 1. Name of insurance company and policy number 2. Name and phone number for the camper’s doctor 3. Visa, Master Card, or Discover card number and expiration date 4. For Summer School students: name and address of school that student attends; name and address of school that the course grade and credit should be sent to; and, for Lovett students, student ID number

Q

What is Lovett's cancellation and refund policy?

A

The Lovett School reserves the right to cancel any portion of a summer program in case of unforeseen circumstances. Refunds will be issued.

In the event a camper withdraws two weeks prior to the program start date, a tuition refund will be made, minus a $50 non-refundable processing fee. If a student withdraws fewer than two weeks before the start date, no refund will be made.

In case of withdrawal due to illness, the family and the summer program will share the loss equally. Written notice from a physician may be required before the refund is issued.

Q

How do I get approval for Summer School credit?

A

Attendance at any other summer school for Lovett credit must be requested in writing and approved by the Upper School dean of academic affairs prior to enrollment in the summer school. Forms for this purpose are available from the dean of academic affairs.

Q

How do I apply to be a camp counselor?

A

Applications are currently being taken for counselors for Camp Lovett (grades K-3) and Sports and Games Camp (grades 4-8). For more information and an application, see the Counselor Application and Counselor Information links, above. Please note: The deadline for filing counselor applications and interviews will be Friday, February 5.
