Camp Lovett  (Rising grades K-2)

Kick off your child’s beginner camp experience in the safe, fun environment of Camp Lovett! The crafts, games and special activities for each weeklong session are based on a unique, festive theme. Children enjoy daily free swim and an off-campus field trip to Southern Belle Farm, Zoo Atlanta, Stone Mountain or the Center for Puppetry Arts.

Sports and Games Junior (Rising grades 1-3)

It is all about choices as campers are offered the freedom to choose activities – games in the gym (dodge ball, kickball, Bingo…) as well as arts and crafts projects (jewelry making, edible art, and ooey gooey crafts)! Campers enjoy daily free swim and take a weekly off-campus adventure to places like Six Flags and Whitewater.

Sports and Games Camp (Rising Grades 4-8)

Be a part of Lovett’s longest-running and most popular summer camp! Campers enjoy games galore, daily free swim sessions and sports trivia contests, while developing sportsmanship and leadership skills. The adventure goes beyond the Lovett campus with a weekly field trip to places like Six Flags and Whitewater.

July Jamboree (Rising grades K-5)

Beat the summer heat while enjoying old-fashioned camp games and activities featuring Marshmallow Monday’s, ooey gooey art, bubble battles, messy relay race competitions and more!

How do I register for camps?

Register online beginning January 10, 2014.

You will create an account for you and for your student(s), then select your offerings. You will checkout by paying with Visa, MasterCard, Discovery, American Express, or e-check via the secure online system. If credit card payment is not a possibility, call (404) 262-3032, ext. 1469.

The registration system for Summer Programs is separate from the Lovett website login accounts that access the grades, tuition payments, and the parent portal. You will need to create a separate account for camp registrations if you have not already done so in prior years.

Will I receive a receipt or confirmation?

Upon registration, you will receive an email confirmation.

For summer camps, you will receive an email confirmation. A reminder email with details and logistics will be sent approximately five days before the start of the camp.

Receipts are available upon request.

Are the programs open to non-Lovett students?

Lovett welcomes all students, ages 4 and up. Bring a friend!

What if I need to switch camps?

If plans change, and you need to switch camps or dates of camps, call the summer camp office at (404) 262-3032, ext. 1469.

To change registrations for study skills or summer school classes, contact Marc Mallet at (404) 262-3032, ext. 1467.

What is the refund and cancellation policy?

The Lovett School reserves the right to cancel any portion of a summer program in case of unforeseen circumstances. Refunds will be issued.

If a student withdraws two weeks prior to the program start date, a tuition refund will be made, minus a $20 non-refundable processing fee. If a student withdraws fewer than two weeks before the start date, no refund will be made.

In case of withdrawal due to illness, the family and the summer program will share the loss equally. Written notice from a physician may be required before the refund is issued.

How do I get receipts for childcare tax deductions?

To get a receipt, go to your master account in the registration system by clicking on a camp offering, then 'My Account'. At the bottom of the page, click on 'View Payment History.' Lovett's tax ID number is 58-0619038.

What’s for lunch?

Lunchtime is a popular event at Lovett’s summer camps featuring food from Chick-fil-A, Willy’s, Zaxby’s and Papa John’s Pizza. Once a week, we take it on the road and eat at our field trip destination. Meals are available to accommodate special dietary requirements.

What do campers wear?

Campers should wear comfortable clothes that you don’t mind getting dirty! Tennis shoes, t-shirts and shorts are recommended.

What do campers bring?

A good attitude and lots of energy! They will also need a bathing suit and towel for swimming. If your child wears goggles, please send them too. Please LABEL all items with your camper’s name.

When are the field trips?

Fantastic field trips are part of what sets the Lovett Summer Camps apart. Camp Lovett and July Jamboree take field trips on Wednesdays except for Session II of Camp Lovett, when the field trip is on Thursday. Sports and Games, jr and Sports and Games take field trips on Thursdays except for the trip to Six Flags. Wednesday is the least crowded day to go there. Lunch and water are provided in the field trips.
