Camp Rocks

Before the 2012 Summer Olympics kick off in London, join your friends for the Camp Rocks Olympics! Make team t-shirts and don your colors as you compete in fun activities like kickball, silly relay races, and parachute games. Create your own Olympic torches, medals, and noise makers and make tasty snacks like Star Spangled Ice Cream Sandwiches and Patriotic Pops. Are you the next Michael Phelps? Find out during daily free swim. Close out the week on Friday with the Camp Rocks Olympic Games, complete with an Opening Ceremony and Award Presentation.

Liz may be new to Camp Rocks, but she’s no stranger to working with children. Liz has worked at Lovett since 2006 as a Lower School physical education teacher, the head coach of the girls varsity basketball team, and an assistant junior varsity softball coach.

What's for lunch?

A

The lunch bunch is part of the fun at Camp Rocks. Each week, campers enjoy meals from Chick-fil-A, Willy’s, Zaxby’s and Papa John’s Pizza. On field trip days, we take it on the road and eat at our field trip destination.

What do I wear?

A

Tennis shoes, T-shirts, and shorts

What do I bring?

A

A good attitude, lots of energy, bathing suit, and towel. Lunch, drinks, and snacks are provided.

Q

What about carpool?

A

Carpool drop off is from 8:45–9:00 am each morning in the Lower School circle. Pick up is promptly at 3:00 pm in the same location.
