Application Process

Please note: the application deadline has passed for the 2008-09 school year! Families wishing to enter the application process at this point must contact the Admission Office.

1. Complete the application and required materials specific to the grade to which your child is applying,  Kindergarten-Grade 5 OR Grades 6-12. You may also request a Lovett application packet by clicking here, or by contacting Marie Davie, Associate Director of Admission, at 404-262-3032, ext. 1244 or mdavie@lovett.org.
   

2. Submit, along with your application, a nonrefundable application fee of $65 made payable to The Lovett School. Online applicants may pay online with a credit card.
   

3. Once your completed application and application fee are received by our office, we will send a letter to you indicating the date and time of your child's observation (for K-grade 5) or interview (for grades 6-12). Please indicate on your application your preferred testing date and time. We will try our best to accommodate your request.  
   

4. The application/application fee deadline for kindergarten is Friday, January 11, 2008. (See application for deadlines for evaluations, recommendations, JATP, and financial aid.)
   

5. The application/application fee deadline for grades 1-12 is Friday, January 25, 2008. (See application for deadlines for evaluations, interviews, recommendations, standardized testing, and financial aid.)
   

6. Timely notification will be mailed to you in the event that pieces are missing from your child's application file. 
   

7. Decision letters will be mailed to the families on Friday, April 4, 2008. The families' reply deadline is Wednesday, April 16, 2008.
