The LionBackers

The Lovett International Alliance
The Lovett International Alliance is committed to expanding international awareness through programs for the entire community. The LIA serves as an educational resource, as well as a social platform for families of diverse backgrounds.
The Lovett Parent Association
The Lovett Parent Association
is the parent organization dedicated to promoting volunteer interest among parents in support of the school, and engaging in activities promoting the enrichment of all students, faculty, and staff.
The Annual Fund
The Annual Fund is Lovett’s most important ongoing development effort. Volunteers play a vital role in the success of the Annual Fund every year. In this 2009-10 year, the Annual Fund is currently supported by 160 parent, alumni, and grandparent volunteers. Serving as an Annual Fund volunteer demonstrates your belief in a Lovett education and will positively impact the present-day and future of the school. The Development Office is seeking dedicated volunteers to lead the 2010-11 Annual Fund, which provides the “extras” that make our school extraordinary. Volunteer activities include personal contacts, phonathons, and mailings.
Parent Support Groups
Parent Support Groups
offer a wide variety of grade-specific parent education opportunities. Group gatherings serve as outlets for open communication among parents to provide information to assist parents in making informed, grade-appropriate parenting decisions.
The “Parents” section of Lovett’s website is an excellent resource for more information about these and other opportunities at the school.
Room Parents/Prime Time Parents
Parents from each Lower and Middle School classroom are selected in the Lower School to serve as Room Parents and in the Middle School to serve as Prime Time Parents. Parents may volunteer for these positions in the spring of the preceding year.
