Fall
Screen on the Green is an opportunity for Lovett families to enjoy a family-friendly “movie under the stars” with pizza, cocoa, coffee, and popcorn. Parents, children, lawn chairs, and blankets litter the field as all settle down for a delightful evening and a unique experience.
The
Visual Arts Faculty Holiday Show & Sale features the creations of the professional working artists who comprise Lovett’s Visual Arts faculty. Included is a diverse array of paintings, drawings, mixed media, photography, jewelry, ceramics, and more!
Winter
Two out of every three years,
The Great Conversation offers the Lovett community the unparalleled opportunity to enjoy intimate conversation with many of Atlanta’s arts leaders over cocktails and dinner. The single largest fundraiser for the arts at Lovett, this event is unique in the Atlanta community and a “don’t miss” on the Lovett calendar.
Spring
The
Spring Arts Festival, an annual event for the Lower School, is a hands-on, interactive, and fun experience for children to explore a period of art such as “Pop” through photography, painting, sculpture, dance, and music. Unique talent from within the Lovett community—students, faculty, and alumni—is featured, along with a few special guests.
The
Senior Visual Arts Exit Show provides a showcase for Lovett’s seniors to display samples of their work before graduating. Modeled on “exit shows” commonly held in colleges and art institutes, it features all forms of visual artwork including painting, photography, mixed media, and ceramics.
