Visual Arts Recognition
The High Museum of Art Atlanta featured selected K-12th grade Lovett student artwork on January 25-March 24, 2011. Thanks to the generous support of Lovett Friends of the Arts and Lovett Parent Association, Lovett is part of an academic affiliate program with the High Museum, which allows for unique access to the many High Museum’s resources, further integrates visual arts into Lovett’s curricula including student internships, career workshops and faculty professional development, and offers special discounts for Lovett families.
The Lovett Upper School Visual Arts students participate in local art exhibitions including the Pace Painting Art Show and Great Frame-Up and present an end-of-year Senior Exit Show sponsored by Lovett Friends of the Arts.
