Applying to Lovett

We are delighted that you are considering submitting an application to The Lovett School!

Students are admitted to Lovett based on the quality of their school performance, teacher evaluations, academic testing, and their observation or interview. The applicant’s talents and extracurricular interests are also integral parts of the admission profile. The admission process begins on October 1 of each year when the online application becomes available for the upcoming school year. The Admission Office offers scheduled tours beginning in October and running through February. Please contact the Admission Office to reserve a tour date.

An applicant’s legacy status is another consideration for admission. Lovett considers applicants to be a legacy if they have a sibling who is a Lovett student, are the child of a Lovett alumni, have a sibling who is a Lovett alumni, or are the child of a current Lovett faculty or staff member.

Lovett’s expansion grades are Kindergarten, Grade 5, Grade 6, and Grade 9. New students are admitted in other grades when space becomes available.
