Applying to Lovett

Students

Students are admitted to Lovett on the basis of their school record/transcript, teacher recommendations, academic testing, and observation or interview. The applicant's talents and extracurricular interests are also integral parts of the admission profile. The admission process begins in the fall when we begin accepting applications for the upcoming school year.

Legacy status is another consideration, and Lovett considers applicants legacies if they have a sibling who is a Lovett student, are the child of a Lovett alumni, have a sibling who is a Lovett alumni, or are the child of a current Lovett faculty or staff member.

Our expansion grades are Kindergarten (75 spaces), Grade 5 (20 spaces), Grade 6 (40 spaces), and Grade 9 (20 spaces). New students are admitted in other grades when space becomes available.

The application deadline for the 2010-11 school year has passed, but late applications can still be submitted. Please call Marie Davie at (404) 262-3032, ext.1244, for important information before submitting a late application.
