Applying to Lovett

Students are admitted to Lovett based on the quality of their school performance, teacher evaluations, academic testing, and their observation or interview. The applicant’s talents and extracurricular interests are also integral parts of the admission profile. The admission process begins in October of each year when the online application becomes available for the upcoming school year. We offer scheduled tours October through February.

Lovett’s expansion grades are Kindergarten, Grade 5, Grade 6, and Grade 9. New students are admitted in other grades when space becomes available.

An applicant’s legacy status is another consideration for admission. Lovett considers applicants to be a legacy if they have a sibling who is a Lovett student, are the child of a Lovett alumni, have a sibling who is a Lovett alumni, or are the child of a current Lovett faculty or staff member.

Application Process

Our online application will be available beginning in early October and is hosted by Ravenna Solutions. For your convenience, we will provide online scheduling of all personal appointments, tours, interviews, and observations. We appreciate your patience as we prepare to launch this new and exciting system.
