The Lovett School encourages field trips and travel opportunities for its students. The school sponsors spring and summer break trips to places such as China, South Africa, Spain, France, and Germany, and invites students to consider semester and year-away programs to complement their Lovett education.
Lovett is a member school in several programs that allow our students the opportunity for unique travel experiences. The Spoleto Study Abroad Program offers fine arts study in Spoleto, Italy, while the Outdoor Academy offers a college preparatory curriculum combined with environmental education in the mountains of North Carolina. Lovett also boasts Siempre Verde, the school's own research station in Ecuador, which offers the investigation of cloudforest ecology.
Several scholarship funds are available to assist Lovett students who want to extend their education beyond the walls of a traditional classrooms. For more information on these funds, click here.
