For the 2011-12 school year, grades 4-9 are part of the school’s 1:1 laptop program—one laptop for each child. The laptop computers are thoughtfully integrated into the classroom curriculum, with the results that the traditional learning process is complemented and students have more opportunities to improve writing and literacy skills, become more engaged in their own learning, and expand their learning environment beyond the classroom walls. Lovett continually assess the implementation and technologies of the programs, with the constant goal focused on curriculum and the school's commitment to engaged learning.
As consistency and compatibility are key, Lovett coordinates the purchase and distribution of these laptops.
