The
Extended Day Program (EDP) is a supervisory program designed for all Middle School students remaining on campus after 4:00 pm who are not involved in a school-sponsored practice, rehearsal, or meeting.
The mission of the EDP is to offer an educational and social enrichment for students in Grades 6-8, assuring parents of a safe, healthy and happy environment for their children. Students report to the designated classroom in the Middle School from 4:00-6:00 pm. There is a supervised homework period followed by free time. Snacks are provided daily.
All students who are not engaged in a Lovett sponsored activity are welcomed to enroll in this program.
Daily Schedule
EDP provides a supervised and more structured homework time, as well as fun-filled activities. The first hour is quiet time, when students are expected to study, complete homework, finish computer projects or read. After 5:00 pm., students are allowed to play board games, play outside, watch films or participate in other activities.
