The After School Activities Program (ASAP) at Lovett provides child care for Lower School children until 6:00 pm, Monday-Friday, on days when the Lovett Lower School is in session. The cost varies according to the number of days and hours attending.

Students are grouped according to grade and participate in age-appropriate activities. The program has a structured routine that allows for down time, as well as for organized activities, such as arts and crafts, cooking, and sports and games. Each day there is a 30-minute homework room for 2nd-5th grade students. Kindergarten and first grade students will come inside to listen to a story or watch an educational movie.
Christian Young is the director of ASAP, and she is assisted by several experienced and energetic teaching professionals.

Billing Information
- Attendee: Children can be enrolled from one to five days per week. Fees are assessed according to the amount of time per week that a child is registered in ASAP. For children who attend five or less hours per week, the charge is $9 per hour. The fee drops to $7 per hour for six or more hours per week. Families with multiple children in the program pay full fee for the first child enrolled. Subsequent family registrations will be at a 35 percent discount. Fees are billed monthly and will be charged to the student's account. So that provisions can be made for staffing, snacks, and supplies, a notice of any changes in a student's schedule must be made to the program director in writing or email by the first of the month in which the change occurs. In order to keep the fees at a nominal rate and to offer the flexibility of monthly billing (most programs bill by the semester), schedule changes after the first of the month cannot be applied until the first of the following month.
- Drop-In: A drop-in student is one who has not committed to a regular ASAP schedule. All drop-ins must register on-line and pay the $45 non-refundable registration fee. The drop-in rate is $12.50 per hour and will be billed to the student's account.
- Afternoon Enrichments: If your child is enrolled in an Afternoon Enrichment please be sure to adjust billing as needed.
Girls Mentor Group
As part of the Upper School counseling program, a Girls Mentor Group provides opportunities for junior and senior girls to develop leadership and
mentoring skills and become agents of positive
change within the Lovett community. Our junior and senior girls work
directly with girls in Grades 2-5 during the After School Activities Program.
